Strength & Conditioning

1 - 1 Strength & Conditioning Sessions (60 mins)

f2kmultisports coaches are accredited through the CHEK Institute,
American College of Sports Medicine and Premier Global, and are experienced strength & conditioning coaches. A monthly session could reduce the risk of injury, increase muscle force and endurance and also improve posture and efficiency.

 

1 - 1 Run Sessions (60 mins)

An efficient running technique results in a faster pace with less effort, and reduced risk of injury. A 1 – 1 session allows the f2k coach to analyse running technique and make the necessary changes to technique, posture and stride rate. Clients usually see a considerable improvement in their running after just one session.

 

1 – 1 Bike Sessions (60 Mins)

Very few people consider cycling technique when riding.  A smooth cycling technique conserves energy, lessens the risk of knee problems and allows you to run faster off the bike in a triathlon.

Sessions are performed on a turbo trainer (supplied by f2k if necessary) with the client’s bike. Riding position is adjusted as required, and technique is analysed and improved through a series of drills. Correct technique is usually achieved within one session.

Outdoor bike handling sessions can also be provided if required.

 

1 – 1 Swim Sessions (60 mins)

The Achilles heel of most triathletes, swimming is the discipline which punishes poor technique more than any other. f2kmultisports have teamed up with Steve Critchley and Darren Ashton at Liquid Motion to provide underwater video analysis and 1 – 1 technique development sessions.

Underwater video analysis is the most effective way to assess technique and identify faults. Objective feedback can be analysed, drills can be prescribed to correct faults, and 1 – 1 sessions can provide continued re assessment.

Boot Camp

Circuit training is a very effective way of increasing stamina, strength, power, core stability and muscular endurance in a short space of time. f2kmultisports have been running Boot Camp for several years in Manchester with great success. If you want to become stronger and reduce your risk of injury during the winter, Boot Camp would be the answer. No gimmicks, just hard work.
